ReVision: Editing Across Disciplines

Conference closed.

We would like to thank all our postgraduate delegates and academic speakers for making the third FORUM conference, Revision: Editing Across the Disciplines, such a wonderful success. For details of the interdisciplinary conference, which took place in July 2013, please visit our website.

This academic conference, which drew together postgraduates from across the UK and America, addressed the practices and concepts of interdisciplinary editing in different historical and cultural contexts. The conference encouraged participants to explore the variety of practices and concepts of editing across disciplines as they appear in different historical and cultural contexts, whilst reflecting on the opportunities, goals and challenges of contemporary editing and publishing.

Keynote speakers were Professor Jeremy Smith (Glasgow), Dr Leon Litvack (Queen's University Belfast) and Boris Gerrets (filmmaker and visual artist). With workshops run by Dr Kenna Olsen (Mount Royal University), Dr Padmini Ray Murray (Stirling University), Susan Greenberg (Roehampton), and Catherine Grosvenor (playwright)
